Zayn received a First-Class degree in Mathematics before joining Oxford. As an undergraduate, he was supported by the prestigious MAC-MIGS scholarship where he conducted academic research exploring “Swarm Intelligence for Simultaneously Inferring the Structure and Parameters of Ordinary Differential Equations.” During his Master’s at Oxford, Zayn focused his studies on the theories of Deep Learning, Networks, Game Theory, and advanced statistical methods. With experience tackling both the STEP and MAT papers, Zayn brings a wealth of knowledge to his tutoring, combining his understanding of mathematics with a structured teaching approach to help students achieve their academic goals.
Mathematics Cambridge University (MMath)
Mathew is a Part III Maths Masters student at the University of Cambridge. I have been tutoring Maths for over 2 years now.I find that the way in which Maths forces creativity when problem solving creates my passion for the subject. The best way for me to revise when I was preparing for exams was to look through and complete past paper questions so that I can understand how to get the marks in a question and I use this approach to help teach a topic to students properly. My goal as a tutor is to not only help students master the material but also to build their confidence and problem-solving skills, enabling them to approach unfamiliar questions with clarity and determination.
